2025-2026 Season info

We are currently in the process of finalizing our program, budget and coaching list for the 2025-26 season. Details will be sent to our current membership as soon as it becomes available.

TIER 1 AAA

Tryout dates are still being finalized, but will be held sometime in mid-April for both boys and girls AAA teams.

 

Tier 1 AAA Open Tryout

We will be hosting open evaluation skates in mid-April. Registration will be posted on the website and emailed to our membership in late February. 

 

Tier 1 AAA Main Camp

Main Camp is invitation-only, and will be where AAA rosters are finalized. Invitations can be earned through evaluation at the open tryouts, and coaches also have the ability to extend direct invitations to Main Camp based on evaluations from the 2024-25 season. 

 

Direct Contract Offers

USA Hockey rules allow coaches the ability to offer contracts for the 2025-26 season beginning on Tuesday, April 8th. By policy, Junior Canes AAA rosters will not be filled prior to the conclusion of the open tryout and Main Camp, but in some cases, coaches may extend contract offers when the signing window opens. This is not a change from prior years.

TIER 2

TIER 2 OPEN TRYOUTS

Tier 2 open tryouts will be held on the weekend of May 16th-18th for both boys and girls teams. Registration links will be posted on the website and emailed to our members in late February.

 

USA Hockey and CAHA rules allow coaches the ability to offer contracts for the 2025-26 season beginning on Friday, May 16th. By policy, no Junior Canes Tier 2 roster will be filled prior to the conclusion of an age group's first open skate, but in some cases, coaches may extend contract offers to 2024-25 Junior Canes members when the signing window opens. This is not a change from prior years.

 

All players wishing to be considered for a 2025-26 roster spot will need to register and should plan to attend all scheduled tryout sessions.
